“Melted Afro” by Unicia R. Buster

In my art group today, on a smaller piece of board, we peeled the paper off of crayons and glued them down. Taking a low-temp hot glue gun, we pressed the tip against the crayon ends and allowed the melted wax to drip down. My participants had a lot of fun doing it. I went a little crazy with mines. In doing so, I discovered that I could write with the crayon while pressing the glue gun tip to it. Essentially, I was using the crayon as it was melting. This Afro is the result.
