“Jewel’s Jewel” by Unicia R. Buster

I love the photo I drew this from of a dear friend of mines who deserves a lot more happiness than she’s been dealt in life. This crown of hair that she now sports grew after she finished her rounds of chemotherapy. I obviously spent a little more time on this one, I think more subconsciously than purposefully. I can now see the potential I have with drawing should I choose to do an art piece. It’s funny that I was thinking how it didn’t look like her and then I showed the drawing to my aunt and first thing she said was “She looks like Julia.” Cool. At least it favors her.

I have one more to post from the weekend, however, I have to step out for class. IBB.
