Our church’s boy scouts, cub scouts and youth usher board got together to have a fun night with games, food, arts and other activities. While sitting in a circle, they children (and adults) were asked to introduce themselves. I was looking on from the side and suddenly saw, you guessed it, an Afro. I asked two children to be the eyes and I moved them to the center and two others to be the neck. What do you think? A bit abstract, I know. And I couldn’t get bystanders to step out of the picture though they didn’t want to sit down in the circle. What can I say? People. I thank all of the children for their 5 minutes of cooperation.
