“What’s in a Name?” by Unicia R. Buster

To that which I am referred as every second, every minute and every day of my life for the rest of my life, I thank you and the mother who gave you to me. My name speaks volumes about me. Unicia is uncommon, unique, unrelenting, attractive, creative and authentic. Buster screams out robust, sturdy, balanced, brave, even quite bossy and aggressive. I absolutely love my name. And I could not have picked a better name for me than my mom and grandfather did. Thank you.

My second assignment for the 30-day #CreativeSprint challenge:

DAY 2

Make something inspired by or using the letters of your first name (or your initials if you prefer).

I used a brown gel pen. I started out doing these echo line drawings using gel pens and then switched to felt tip archival ink pens. I remember now why I did.

The drawing before I began echoing the lines. You can see that I wrote my name three times.
