I know I probably beat Mari Kondos’ method into the ground, but it works for me and even though I have a long way to go, it already is changing my life. That said, this is another find in my pile of stuff which is slowly turning into an arts and crafts store (not to mention the bookstore we had downstairs before going through them all and getting rid of more than 50%). We often get donations at work and this was one of them. I got boxes of small bags containing 8 play necklaces each. I tried using them in craft projects, but they didn’t work out too well. Then, I gave them out to visitors (and involuntarily to staff – they always run to free stuff whether they need it or not) for Mardi Gras and during Arts and Health Day. But I still had tons of the stuff left. I took a couple bags home to use when I was making my carnival costume, but ended up not using them in that either. So, of course, it got buried in a box somewhere and forgotten about. I was about to toss them when I remembered, duh, Afros 365.
